Happy Friday! You’ve made it to the end of your week and, like me, I’m sure you are looking forward to some time off. It’s been a great week here on the blog, and I have a bunch of things coming up this weekend that I am excited to share with you. Today happens to be my birthday (31), and my wife made arrangements to have a dinner with family and friends at our favorite local sushi restaurant. I’ll be sure to report more on that tomorrow!

My day started as usual. I got up at 04:00am, recited my daily affirmations, completed several training modules, and launched another ad campaign. Because I took a rare day off work, I was able to also get a morning hair cut, go to the bank to finalize some lending documents, and get home to start the blog all before 11:00am. That’s what I call a productive morning! Anyway, I really enjoy my visits to the barber. Not only do I get the best cut in town, I also get the opportunity to have a really great discussion. I have noticed lately, our conversations are evolving and I realize that we become more in alignment as peers each visit. Today, I learned that he actually implemented my “the rent is always due” strategy in a way that best serves him. I can’t tell you how excited I was to hear that. When I explained to him several weeks ago that I developed a strategy to save more money, he not only listened and acknowledged that it was important to me, but he also found enough value in what I was saying to try it for himself! This proves that there was a meaningful and impactful exchange between us. I’m not a financial advisor, and I certainly don’t claim to be one. But I shared something of value with him, that value was received, and was then reciprocated back to me in the form of a success story! In this case, I have accomplished everything I aim to do. I helped him. However small it may seem, it was meaningful and impactful for us both!

I am going to break form slightly and let you off the hook this Friday without my usual monologue. But before you go, I want to leave you with some words of inspiration.

“We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.” – Aristotle

Let this resonate, and we will reflect on it tomorrow!

Have a great weekend!

Cheers to your success!
